WHEEL of Fortune fans got their first look at Ryan Seacrest on stage with the contestants and Vanna White.
The US game show has released a teaser for the show’s next season featuring footage from the first episodes with Pat Sajak’s replacement.

The footage showed contestants celebrating big wins on Wheel of Fortune, as well as Ryan, 49, and Vanna, 67, entering the set.
“Are you ready to be part of a new era on Wheel? We’re looking for great new competitors to play for big money with Ryan and Vanna. Go to WheelofFortune.com and sign up today,” said a voiceover.
The clip was shared on Reddit, where fans of the game show shared their reactions.
Some noted the lack of changes to the show’s setting.

“All of these clips (except the first one with the woman at the red podium) are from Ryan’s first recorded episodes, before the set change,” one person pointed out.
Another responded: “So they kept the huge logo behind the steering wheel, huh? I don’t care, it’s better than the video wall.”
Others shared their thoughts on Ryan as a host, despite not having seen much of him on the show.
“Ryan definitely seems a lot more excited than Pat; If anyone still doubts Ryan, give him a chance,” they urged.
“I can’t wait to see how it goes. The excitement for a new chapter is fun,” shared a second.
BACK TO THE SET
Ryan and Vanna appeared in a commercial for KTen Television’s 70th anniversary, giving fans an early look at the Wheel of Fortune set.
“KTen Television is proudly celebrating 70 years on air,” a voiceover announced.
The screen changes to show Ryan and Vanna standing on the Wheel set.
“From everyone here at Wheel of Fortune, happy birthday KTen,” said Vanna.

Although Pat and Vanna have been a fixture on the game show for decades, there have been other hosts
Chuck Woolery was the host from 1975 to 1981
He co-hosted alongside Susan Stafford (1975 to 1982)
Vanna White took over as host in 1982 and has been since then.
After a contract and salary dispute, the show got rid of Chuck and brought back Pat in 1982.
Pat hosted Susan for a season
He then left the game show in 1989 to host a late-night talk show for CBS.
For five months, NFL player Rolf Benirschke took his place
In July 1989, Bob Goen hosted the show on CBS
He hosted for a year and a half until the show was canceled in 1991
The show was then moved to ABC, with Pat and Vanna hosting for the foreseeable future.
In 2023, Pat announced his retirement and Ryan Seacrest was quickly named his replacement
Ryan didn’t speak, but both he and his co-star were shown in front of a blue background with the show’s name on it.
Before Ryan took over as host of Wheel of Fortune, the background of the set was brown instead of blue.
The font remains the same and the “O” in “of” is still shaped like a wheel.
New episodes of Wheel of Fortune are scheduled to air in September.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Ryan gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the new season of Wheel of Fortune in July.
In a clip shared on Instagram, he was seen working out while Vanna barked orders at him through a megaphone.
He did push-ups on stage and tried to pull an SUV by a rope while Vanna watched.
The car seemed like a prize fans could win at the show.
Vanna shouted instructions to Ryan through a megaphone while sitting in a golf cart outside.
Ryan thrust as she rode calmly beside him.
The co-hosts also ate meatballs for lunch before watching the confetti fall to the floor and hugging each other.
The clip emerged after it was rumored that Ryan and Vanna were struggling to find the same chemistry that she and Pat, 77, had during his 40 years as host.
