A EUROPEAN airline has started a ‘fly all you want’ deal for a cheap price – but there’s a sneaky problem.
Wizz Air is offering regular flyers the chance to get an unbelievable annual membership for less than £450.
The agreement offers travelers a selection of 950 routes across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
But customers need to act fast as there are only 10,000 seats available.
In addition to this shortage of seats, £450 is just the starting price and is expected to rise to over £500 after August 15th.
But once a membership is purchased, from September 25th lucky tourists will be able to fly almost wherever they wish.
The customer must choose the destination up to 72 hours before flight departure, with options available such as Italy and Spain.
But tourists willing to take air transfers means the membership can take you to other locations like Iceland, Dubai and the Maldives – all included in the deal.
But this too-good-to-be-true deal has a catch.
Despite the announcement that flights are free, members will still have to pay a £9 booking fee for each individual flight taken.
Additionally, there is no carry-on or checked baggage allowance, meaning passengers will only have to deal with one small personal bag to fit under the chair in front of them.
Wizz Air Chief Commercial Officer Silvia Mosquera said: “We are excited to be the first to introduce this unique membership to travelers in Europe.
“The Wizz All You Can Fly membership will offer customers hundreds of spontaneous travel options for one fixed price, giving them the freedom to fly whenever it suits them, without paying more.”
It comes after an American holidaymaker revealed how she got an extra free holiday in Italy after her flight was canceled – and thousands of pounds worth of flight vouchers.
When Susan Berry’s flight was overbooked, American Airlines reportedly needed volunteers to stay in Italy – expenses paid.
Photographer Susan received news that her American Airlines flight was overbooked — as were others to Philadelphia for nearly two weeks, she said.
Susan’s trip to Naples was able to be extended by a few days, boasting thousands of pounds worth of stays in four-star hotels, private cars, delicious meals – and guaranteed flight vouchers.
The 36-year-old suggested she couldn’t wait to volunteer to stay longer on holiday.
Talking to Business Insider, she said: “Before the manager could even finish the sentence, I was like, ‘Me! Me! Me! Can I do this, please?'”
Susan managed to rack up an impressive total of $3,550, or around £2,780, in flight vouchers.
That doesn’t even include the luxurious hotel stay, her meals and transportation, it’s reported.
Unfortunately for her, this fell short of her $10,000 hang gliding goal.
